Welcome to The Lakehouse Inn
Our boutique resort in Northeast Ohio is located along the southern shore of Lake Erie in Geneva-on-the-Lake. Experience the eight-room bed and breakfast, four cottages, full production winery, Crosswinds Grille, featuring farm-to-table cuisine and the Spa.
The Lakehouse Inn is more than a summer destination. There are a number of packages/events to experience throughout the year. Fall colors are stunning while the days are still comfortable along the shoreline due to the warmer lake water. Lake Erie is also very captivating during the winter months as the lake terrain turns very tundra-like.
Plan a “Lake Erie Wines & Vines” Wine Trail jaunt. The Lakehouse Inn is one of the twenty-plus wineries along the trail, which is at the heart of Ohio Wine Country.
Don’t forget to get up early at least one morning to watch the sunrise. Take a stroll through the meticulously landscaped gardens throughout the property. Walk down to the waterfront, search for beach glass or test your skill at skipping stones. Get a chair and sit at the water’s edge to feel the breeze, listen to and watch the birds along the shoreline.
Have breakfast, lunch or dinner at Crosswinds Grille. Enjoy delectable, farm-to-table cuisine with great views of Lake Erie from the spacious windows of the restaurant. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, wanting a corner table for a romantic dinner for two, Crosswinds Grille is the perfect venue.
Experience the tranquility of the Spa, an oasis from the hectic world or indulge yourself to a day of pampering. The Spa at The Lakehouse Inn offers a full range of services that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
The Lakehouse Inn is within walking distance of Ohio’s oldest resort, “The Strip” where there are a number of games, small shops, and a number of eateries. Geneva State Park Marina is a short walk to the West and Adventure Zone is just around the corner to the East.
Since The Lakehouse Inn is located just 7 miles from Spire Institute, it is an ideal lodging venue for family and friends visiting the area to attend the various competitions throughout the year.
For activity enthusiasts, there are a number of golf courses, hiking and biking trails. The inn is a short distance from the Metroparks biking/walking trails. If you would like to get out for a drive, a trip to the historic Ashtabula Harbor, a stroll through one of Ashtabula County’s Covered Bridges, or exploring the Barn Quilt Trail across Ashtabula County are just a few possibilities.
